As an IT Apprentice you’ll use your positive attitude, your knowledge of IT and your ability to deliver initial IT support. It’s a job full of possibilities as you could get involved in anything from ensuring server infrastructure is working correctly, to providing support to 900 users or building new laptops. You will provide project support, great customer service, problem solving support queries, and work with various teams within our IT department.

Apprenticeship Level 3 – Digital Application Support

35 hours per week

 

£21,882 per annum

Key Duties

  • Support the IT Department with ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required
  • Act as a point of contact in answering the phone and self-service enquiries that come through to the Service Desk
  • Assist with updating and maintaining the team documentation
  • Assist with resolving technical hardware and software issues
  • Assist the Service Delivery Manager in producing statistics for monthly team meetings
  • Support the IT department in the roll out of projects and support project queries

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of five GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Maths and English
  • Technical knowledge of IT systems
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and internet to an intermediate level
  • Good prioritising, time management and planning skills
  • Proactive in resolving issues & efficient at solving problems
  • Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent customer experience
