That’s where our Jobs Growth Wales+ programme (JGW+) can help. It’s a great way to boost your confidence and get a taste of work you might be interested in. You’ll also have access to free training, work placements and paid jobs with employers in your area.
If you want to get your career going or give your existing career a boost, an Apprenticeship is a great place to start.
An Apprenticeship is a work-based learning programme that helps you to develop professional skills and gain a nationally recognised level 2-5 qualification, while earning a salary – making it an excellent career choice.
If you want the very best of Apprenticeships and want to work towards a foundation degree-level qualification whilst earning and learning then a Higher Apprenticeship is for you.
A Higher Apprenticeship works the same as a normal Apprenticeship in the sense that it will provide you with the mix of on and off-the-job training. However, a Higher Apprenticeship is designed to develop your skills and qualifications to the possible highest standard.

Our dedicated team are available to offer advice and guidance throughout your training.
As an ACT learner, you also have free access to togetherall a safe, anonymous, online peer community that supports the mental health of all our learners 24/7.
