About this Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship overview
- You’ll complete all apprenticeship learning activities, assessments and coursework required to achieve your qualification.
- You’ll contribute to a range of projects and day-to-day activities, gaining practical experience in your chosen career.
- You’ll take part in Hafod’s early talent development programme, including workshops, networking and development activities.
- You’ll receive coaching and mentoring.
Duties
- Assist with general admin tasks such as arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and supporting communication across the business.
- Reviewing and maintaining legal and compliance documents; filing returns with regulators (e.g., Companies House).
- Support the Data Protection Officer in their duties, including archiving, dealing with subject access requests and monitoring.
- Assist the complaints team with handling complaints and insurance claims.
- Support with running reports and collecting data for important service KPIs, helping to keep dashboards up to date.
- Work with the Senior Manager to gather data from different Hafod teams and help improve how data is collected.
Requirements
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths (A*-C)
- Good IT skills, including regular use of email, Microsoft Office (e.g. Word and Excel), and other digital tools, or the ability to quickly build confidence in these areas.
- An interest in working in governance, risk or data protection with any related experience (e.g. through education, part-time work, volunteering, or personal projects).
- Welsh language skills,

- Commitment to successfully completing the apprenticeship programme, including off-the-job learning and associated qualifications.
- Willingness to attend training, workshops and learning activities as required.
Ability to travel to Hafod locations, training venues and events as required.
Welsh language requirements
- Welsh speaking desirable.
- Welsh writing skills desirable.
