ACT Training, Wales’ leading training provider, has expanded and re-launched its commercial training offering which aims to provide South Wales employers with a range of courses to help up-skill their workforce whilst also helping individuals with their CPD.

The programme, called Training & Development, does exactly what it says on the tin: trains and develops staff.

ACT draws on 26 years of training excellence to provide courses and personal development support for private, public and not-for-profit organisations in South Wales.

The spring edition of Training & Development includes 60 courses spanning a range of industry sectors from Finance, Hospitality, IT, Health and Safety and Management.

Employers and delegates can choose from half-day to three-day short courses that will help enhance their current skills, or longer nationally recognised qualifications shaped around business needs that will help individuals progress in their career.

The programme has been launched in response to changes to training funding available to employers who are looking to invest in their staff. Courses are competitively priced and start at £95, with group booking discounts available for up to eight delegates.

Courses can be delivered at ACT’s head office at Ocean Park House in East Tyndall Street, Cardiff, or in the place of work. Ocean Park House offers a modern learning environment that boasts 20 high quality training rooms, with access to IT equipment and free Wi-Fi, along with an onsite cafeteria and parking.

Claire Mirbelle, ACT’s Senior Client Development Manager, said: “The launch of our new Training & Development programme marks an important moment for ACT. Building on the success of our apprenticeship provision, the new programme has expanded our offering to employers and enables us to continue our successful collaborations with SMEs and industry-leading companies in South Wales.”
