WMC Training is a leading apprenticeship training provider in England specialising in the delivery of high-quality Childcare and Management qualifications to the nursery sector.
They work with hundreds of independent nursery settings across England, the largest nursery franchise in the UK, David Lloyd Club and the National Health Service.
They have an exciting opportunity to work in our Cardiff based Head Office, working directly with (and learn from) their Marketing Manager on a range of projects including social platforms, and automations, websites and design, and video production to name a few.
You will be starting your career in Marketing for an established brand with 15 years of success in our sector. You will be fully mentored and developed within your role and will benefit from direct guidance and input from a highly successful marketing manager who will support and mentor you throughout your apprenticeship programme.

The Role
As a Marketing Apprentice, you’ll be working closely with our experienced marketing professional and wider team to develop your skills while contributing to real projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain valuable experience across various aspects of marketing, from digital campaigns to content creation and social media management.
Key duties:
- Assisting with social media content creation and scheduling across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Supporting email marketing campaigns and newsletters to engage our audience.
- Helping to create compelling website and blog content that attracts and informs.
- Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assisting with paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Tracking and analysing campaign performance to help refine strategies.
- Engaging with our audience and responding to comments/messages in a professional and friendly manner.
- Learning how to use industry-standard marketing tools and software.
Desirable criteria:
- A creative and motivated individual who is eager to learn.
- A keen interest in marketing, social media, and digital trends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and an eye for good design.
- A proactive attitude – you’re not afraid to bring new ideas to the table.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- No previous experience is required – just enthusiasm and a willingness to grow!
Essential criteria:
- English GCSE Grade C or above.
