Apprenticeship Level 2 Digital Skills for Business
35 hours per week

Key Duties
Marketing & Social Media Support
- Assisting with content planning for Instagram, LinkedIn, and email newsletters
- Drafting captions, posts, and basic graphics (we’ll train you!)
- Scheduling content using platforms like metasuite and Canva
- Engaging with our community on social media
- Researching trends, hashtags, and marketing ideas
- Blog Writing
- SEO input and tagging
- Creating Gift Guides
Client & Admin Support
- Helping to manage client inboxes and bookings
- Scheduling calls, appointments, and diary coordination
- Carrying out research tasks — e.g., venue options, suppliers, product comparisons
- Updating client files and internal systems
- Creating and formatting client reports or summaries
- Completing administration tasks on behalf of Otium and their clients
- Sending weekly updates
- Answering the phones and taking messages
Business Development Support
- Supporting with lead generation tasks (e.g., list building, basic outreach)
- Helping to maintain CRM records and client notes
- Attending team catch-ups and taking notes/actions
- Supporting events or projects where needed
Essential Criteria
- GCSE A-C in English Language and Literature
- GCSE A-D in all other subjects
Desirable Criteria
We’re not expecting you to have years of experience, this is an apprenticeship after all! But here are some of the qualities, skills, or interests that would really help you thrive in this role:
Communication Skills
- Confident and clear when speaking or writing
- Comfortable talking to clients in a professional tone
- Able to ask questions and share ideas
IT & Admin Skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office or Office 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable using email, internet search tools, and learning new systems
- Good attention to detail when typing, organising, or inputting information
Customer Service Mindset
- Friendly, approachable, and solutions-focused
- Enjoy helping others and creating a great experience
- Able to stay calm and polite under pressure
Social Media Awareness
- Active on platforms like Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn
- Interested in content creation or learning how to market a brand
- A good eye for what makes a post engaging
Willingness to Learn
- Open to feedback and trying new things
- Positive attitude and ready to get stuck in
- Reliable and able to manage your time effectively
