If you’re 16-19 yrs old, join us this summer for a packed timetable of exciting activities, courses and excursions! We’ll help you prepare for life after school, while you gain new skills, make new friends and earn along the way.

Prepare for your next steps and earn up to £60 per week!

Our summer programme will focus on topics such as health and wellbeing, life skills, and enrichment activities. You will also receive employability training and all the support you need to fast forward to the next stage of your life – all while being paid!

Over the 8 weeks, you will undertake a variety of activities and tasks in the following topics:

  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Team Work
  • Employability
  • Money Management
  • Mental Health
  • Physical Activities
  • Healthy Eating
  • Communication

You will also have the opportunity to visit local colleges, access advice from Careers Wales, receive employability advice from local employers and speak to motivational mentors!

Jobs Growth Wales+ Enrichment at ACT

You will receive a training allowance of up to £60 per week for attending our summer programme, along with a daily meal allowance of £3.90

  • Get Ready for Summer starts week commencing the 3rd July
  • Get Ready for Summer runs for 8 weeks, up until the 25th of August
  • To join our summer programme, you must be between 16-19 yrs old, living in Wales, and currently not in full-time education, employment or training
  • You will earn up to £60 per week, depending on your hours of attendance
  • You will receive a daily meal allowance of £3.90
