About this course
The Level 3 Providing Financial Services (Retail Banking Pathway) Apprenticeship has been designed with employers in Wales to equip apprentices with the skills and knowledge that they need to be able to support with managing the day-to-day operations within a retail banking environment. This apprenticeship programme is designed to provide a robust vocational route to a successful career in the fast-paced retail banking sector.
This programme is suitable for those seeking a developing career in retail banking, or for those wishing to upskill themselves to take on a more responsible retail banking role, or for retail banking professionals who want an accredited qualification to affirm their existing experience in the field.
This apprenticeship is made up of a combination of mandatory units and optional units. We will work with you to decide which optional modules are most suited to you and your job role.
Units include:
- Complying with regulations within the financial services environment.
- Improving and maintaining workplace competence in a financial services environment.
- Developing productive working relationships with colleagues
When you agree to undertake an Apprenticeship, you may be required to complete Essential Skills qualifications, depending on your previous qualifications, the Apprenticeship level you are completing and your own particular needs.
This programme will primarily be delivered through 1-to-1 sessions with a member of the ACT delivery team, using a mixture of face-to-face and remote learning sessions. An ACT assessor will meet with the learner, either in the workplace or through digital means, once a month for approximately two hours to support progress.
Learners will also be set tasks to complete between each visit, which are tailored to the different needs of each learner and the workplace activities they are involved with.
Learners are supported and encouraged throughout their qualification to reach their full potential in their chosen industry.
The skills and knowledge you will gain throughout this qualification will qualify you for roles including:
- Customer Service Adviser (Banking)
