About this course
The Level 3 apprenticeship in Insurance is your stepping stone to a rewarding career in the dynamic world of insurance. Providing a foundation in general insurance whilst also allowing apprentices to specialise into areas that match their career aspirations and the needs of their employer, this nationally recognised qualification equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to kickstart a successful career in the insurance industry.
This qualification is suitable for individuals working within the insurance industry who provide complex products and services to customers either face-to-face or over the telephone. The apprenticeship will give learners the opportunity to receive recognition for their experience or, if new to a role, the opportunity to take the first step towards professional qualifications.
This programme is made up of a mixture of mandatory units and optional units.
Mandatory units include the following:

This element of the programme will be delivered through blended learning, with learners attending 4 half-day knowledge and technical skills workshops delivered either face-to-face or virtually using Microsoft Teams across the 18-month duration of the programme. Assessment for the CII qualification is through completion of 2 online exams aligned to the units of study. Learners will benefit from CII membership for the duration of the apprenticeship.
Learners are supported and encouraged throughout their qualification to reach their full potential in their chosen industry.
