This Highfield accredited course provides participants with the skills to assist the recognition and management of illness and injury in the workplace – which offers more in-depth knowledge, allowing the participant to conduct a full assessment and administer first aid for a wider range of injuries as well as major illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, stroke etc.

Prerequisites: Participants must be able to kneel on the floor and complete several cycles of CPR using a manakin.

This is recommended for First Aid Responders working in larger organisations and/or organisations with more potential for a diverse range and severity of injuries due to the nature of activities on site (plant, construction etc.)
This course includes a 30-question multiple choice assessment to be completed at the end of the training in addition to practical demonstration assessments throughout each day. Upon completion of this qualification you will gain a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work.
This is qualification is required in order to be a first aider in the workplace where there are increased levels or risk.
